Weather Update Saturday 10:30am:  We have begun play on the Men’s Intermediate Doubles division. Men’s Advanced Doubles will begin at 12:30pm

Weather Update Saturday 9:10am: It just rained at the courts but the rain has stopped. Currently plan for a 15-30 minute rain delay. 10am is now 10:15-10:30. 

Weather Update Friday 3:30pm: We are monitoring the storm across South Georgia. And we will have weather updates beginning at 8am tomorrow morning. As of now, everything is on schedule. 

Tentative Tournament Schedule:

Saturday 10am: Men's Beginner/Intermediate Doubles

Saturday 12pm: Men's Advanced Doubles

This event will take place at the Glennville Recreation Department in Glennville, GA on September 14th. Here are the divisions and payouts:

Men's Doubles Open (4.0 and Above)                                    1st: $150, 2nd: $80, 3rd: $40

Men's Doubles Beginner/Intermediate (Below 4.0)         1st: $100, 2nd: $50, 3rd: $30

If there are 8 teams or less (10 for Singles) in the Prize Money Divisions, prize money will be paid out as a percentage of the entry fee pool for that division:

--> 1st Place: 35%, 2nd Place: 18%, 3rd Place: 7%

Format:

All divisions have at least a 4-match guarantee

• All divisions can play more matches than the guarantee depending on number of entries per division

Additional Notes:

-Both players need to report the score together to the tournament desk after the match in order to ensure accurate results.

-Follow the tournament on the link in the homepage of the website, as well as in your email. It is a Google Sheet with match times and the draws, so be sure to follow it.

-Matches will be played Outdoors on permanent pickleball courts

Rain/Inclement Weather Policy:

-If your division has begun play, and the event is cancelled, there are no refunds. However, if your division has not begun play, and the event is cancelled, then you will receive a rain-check voucher code by email to use in your next tournament.
